Same as the HOA ARC but now with style!!! That is if style meant color.

The HOA ARC, acronym for Antenna Relocation Cable is a unique piece of gear that incorporates a 4mm banana jack counterpoise into the coaxial cable just under the BNC mount. HT antennas are only half of the dipole it wants to be. The radio will find its other half. If that is a ground, you, your pack or plate carrier, it will pick for you. By providing a good counterpoise, we have seen anywhere from 6-24dB receive gain on VHF/UHF varying with the antenna you mount to it. Paired with the molle clip, it's intended to mount up off the shoulder on a backpack, ruck, plate carrier, chest rig, and whatever else you have with molle. By doing so, it gets the antenna up and away from your body. This increases the amount of RF energy out and into the antenna.

The counterpoise from us is used for VHF/UHF frequencies. The coaxial cable is RG-8x to minimize losses for UHF/VHF/HF while remaining plenty flexible for your kit's specific needs. It uses BNC connectors for use with all your favorite antennas. That means as you change kit, it can adapt with it. If you're out in the field, decide you need to extend comms range, it can be done without hassle. All you need to do is toss your Slim Jim, J-pole, jungle antenna, or deploy the Yagi antenna, unmount the BNC antenna, and connect to the now deployed antenna.  Leaving comms down for the mere seconds it takes to swap BNCs.

While optimized for use with HT's using VHF/UHF, it has been used with customer made counterpoise replacements to work on HF bands as well.
